Reset your TV to factory settings or change the sources and check the video cables or the software needs to be updated or there could be a problem with the TV screen it's self and the LCD.
Hi,
it sounds like you need to use the rewind option first to rewind the tape. If the tape isn't rewound, then you're unable to play it. And this might cause the eject issue that you're experiencing as well.
Thank you.
Possible TCon board issue but check Pico fuse on Power Supply. Fuse is located near top left closer to connector plug . Fuse is marked as L7.
If faulty, replace ONLY with the correct value and type of fuse.
Hi,
please attempt a factory reset of your tv according steps provided in it's manual. If the factory reset does not work, please attempt to swap out the power cable of the tv if possible.
If all else fails, you might need to send the tv to Geeksquad/bestbuy or Sony in order for repairs to be done.
Thank you.
Question edited for clarity. Full 'make model (what it is)'.
Question moved from Computers to Sony Bravia Television.
Sony says is it the same television, just with a larger screen

You could ask Jimmy which is where your parts come from

That particular unit is very sensitive to scratched or dirty disks. Remove the disk and make sure there are no finger prints, peanut butter & jelly, or popcorn butter stains on the back side. If there is, gently wash the disk under warm water with a DROP of mild dish detergent, being careful not to scratch the surface. Rinse the disk well and dry with a soft, lint free cloth (like an old cotton t-shirt) again being careful to avoid scratching the disk. Replace the disk and play.
If the disk is scratched, there is little hope of fixing the scratch so the unit can read it.....
Unplug the TV for a while and hopefully, that should reset the circuity. If you're using the original remote control, check for the display button and press it.
I would also suggest doing a factory reset if your TV has that feature and if the TV allows you to do it after unplugging it.
I am guessing that your DVD player could be broken and the laser part that reads the disc's is also not working too and the disc drive is also broken. The disc drive and everything that is attached to the disc drive needs to be replaced all together.
It could be that the board inside of the remote where the buttons are attached to are dirty and need to be cleaned with qutips and rubbing alcohol or there is a problem with it's infared sensor on the remote or on the TV it's self or pairing problems or if the remote was damaged then. In those cases I would buy another remote for your TV.
last man on earth on tape?

there is no books AT SONY or support now. it ended long ago\ 1987 ,35 long years ago/.

HDCP 2.2 wasn't released until 2014. The LG 55G2 was released in 2012. There's no way to upgrade the TV, unless you replace it. Using a splitter probably wouldn't help. The device sending the HDCP check needs every part of the HDMI cable daisy-chain system to send back a "Yes I understand" message in 20ms.
Since a receiver isn't usually sending copy-protected video, this message is coming from one of the devices. Reset the resolution for that device to 1080p. Based on your description of the problem, you need to change the video output on the cable box. This depends on the cable box model and the guide it uses. However, either turn off the receiver with the cable box and TV left on. Alternatively, connect the cable box to the TV directly. For some, you then press Menu (for the cable box) twice to get to general settings. Then enter the audio/video section and look for the video output formats. See https://www.spectrum.net/support/tv/hdtv-picture-formats for some of the reset steps. In some cases, you may need to use a different video output to the TV to get a picture, instead of the error message, to access the menu at all.
On my set-top box, I sometimes connect the RF output to the RF on the TV when the set-top box sends a "out of range" signal. I set the TV to channel 3 (in my case) and then reset the video format. Other times, I just get the blank screen but the menu still works to reset the output format.
I hope this helps.

I would try and unplug the TV and all of the attachments that are connected to your TV and wait for a few minutes to plug everything back in again and see if that fixes the problem. It could be an issue with your TV's mainboard or a power supply issue.
