Hi, please check that the volume-down button isn't stuck and therefore forcing the volume of your piano to decrease. You might wiggle the button from side to side if you noticed that it's stuck. If possible, attempt to route the piano sound to an external speaker and see if you receive the same results as you initially did. Thank you.

whatever you may have changed will be reset to factory settings. You must
remember, this is a "hard" reset as al of the parameters on the PC88 are set
to their initial factory state which includes all Setups and Effects.
