3 Beeps after trying to scan
If you are receiving three quick beeps (all the same tone) before a scan the battery is low. If the scanner is more than two years old the battery may need to be reconditioned. It is recommended the battery be reconditioned once a year. The latest revision of the LS4278 manual is here:
http://support.symbol.com/support/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=6983404apdf&sliceId=&dialogID=134112767&stateId=0%200%2014115220
Print page 28 of 414 and scan the Battery Recondition barcode. The scanner will discharge the battery then charge it up again. It goes through this two times so you need to leave it on the charger a while for this process to complete. Hopefully this will resolve your issue. If not, you may need a new battery.
If the beeps are low, medium, high the procedure above still may work, but you might want to call Motorola for assistance. Sometimes hearing the beeps helps to diagnose the problem.
Symbol scanner M2007-I425
Is this a POE
What's the voltage?
Mine is model M2007-I425 (M2K1175)According to your question about POE, although it uses the same RJ45 as ethernet, it is NOT an ethernet port. It's a USB connector on mine at least. Good luck, hope you haven't blown it up with crazy voltage :)So to answer your question, I would say 5 volts and I have no pinout for you atm.
Couldn't get PM power status
I figured out, that the problem i caused by badly connected motherboard cable. I solved it by assembling the "display etc" part with the motherboard firts, then connecting the MB cable firmly, and finally put together with the "gun holder/battery closet" and secure it with screws

Will not pair with android device, android tells me to enter code into the scanner.
Check out the Zebra support article that contains the barcodes to be scanned when prompted
to enter a pin code:https://portal.motorolasolutions.com/Support/US-EN/Resolution?solutionId=5969&redirectForm=search&searchQuery=%3FsearchType%3Dsimple%26searchTerm%3DLs4278%20open%20bluetooth
There is a link in the article to a Word document that contains screenshot and all of the necessary barcodes.
How do I change sounds on 9090 scanner
Looked though the user manual, and it does not appear that is capability exists. Manual states that the unit will beep after a tag is read. No programming information was presented to change any sound options.
Need to reload Symbol PDT 6846 scanners
To configure the terminal Ctrl-C to drop you to a DOS prompt then type cfg11 this will then take you a configuration screen where you can enter wireless and IP settings.
I can’t say about what program you are trying to load. If you get the system to associate then the next step is to configure the host settings.
FUNC-CTL-R at the Connect to Host screen
Password: system
Then you can add host settings.
It’s a shame we fix PDT6846's all the time and if we replace the board reconfigure them for the customer.

How to change host on mc9090
Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) allow mobile computers to communicate wirelessly and send captured data to a host device in real time. Before using the mobile computer on a WLAN, the facility must be set up with the required hardware to run the wireless LAN and the mobile computer must be configured. Refer to the documentation provided with the access points (APs) for instructions on setting up the hardware. To configure the mobile computer, a set of wireless applications provide the tools to configure and test the wireless radio in the mobile computer. The Wireless Application menu on the task tray provides the following wireless applications: • Wireless Status • Wireless Diagnostics • Find WLANs • Manage Profiles • Options • Enable/Disable Radio • Log On/Off Tap the Signal Strength icon to display the Wireless Applications menu
