Do whatever it takes to duplicate the wiring of good earpiece to the one that is not working and that should resolve the issue.

attach the wires according to the schematic you got with the radio telling you what wires do what. Those wire go on pins 1 - 4 The yellow wire is not connected.

White wire goes to J13, Red wire goes to J12. Hope this helps ;)

Old question, but may be somebody else is experiencing the same issue. The earcup without the boom has a noise cancelling board, so it could be one of the wires that goes from one board to the other one. Gently take the earcup off and look at the 4 wires that are soldered on top (red, black, shield and white). If one of these is cut, the speaker/anr won't work. You will need a very small soldering iron to repair it (no more than 15 - 20 watts). Good luck, hope this helps ;)

Don't know why answers for different type of headsets shown up on a question about the Telex 850. Probably there is an issue with the cord. The cord has two shielded "double" wires on each pair. The ones for the mic are "white" and "light blue". May be one is cut preventing the mic to work. Look around for a local avionics shop, they should be able to fix it. Hope this helps ;)

An equalizer circuit or filter? No idea where this would as you only give the result not total environment.

change brake fluid completely and bleed out starting at the furthest point to the nearest point to master cyl.Let sit overnight and bleed nearest point to master cyl as air rises to highest point.

Well first, to see if this is a simple problem, do a reset. Try doing this: Toggle the hold switch and put it back in the off position. Then press and hold the center button and the menu button simultaneously for ten seconds and the apple symbol should come up on the screen. Then it should work like normal. Hope this helps you! the problem might be due to the internal wiring damage.do not coil the wire much.you might have to replace it if damaged.
