I have a Sunquest SD2 tanning bed. The canopy bulbs are all out but the face tanner and the bed bulbs are on.

It sounds like there may be a problem with the wiring or circuitry specific to the canopy bulbs. Given that the other bulbs in the bed are still working, it's unlikely to be an issue with the power supply or overall wiring of the unit.

Without being able to physically inspect the unit, it's difficult to provide a definitive solution. However, some potential steps you could take include:

1. Check the connections between the canopy bulbs and the rest of the unit. There may be loose or corroded wires that are preventing the bulbs from receiving power.

2. Inspect the sockets that hold the bulbs to make sure they're not damaged or worn. If they are, they may need to be replaced.

3. Try replacing the bulbs themselves. It's possible that they've simply burnt out and need to be swapped for new ones.

4. If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it may be necessary to contact a professional technician who can diagnose and repair the problem. Given that there was recently a blown fuse, it's possible that there's a deeper electrical issue that needs to be addressed.

As always, when working with electrical equipment it's important to exercise caution and follow proper safety protocols. If you're unsure about how to proceed, it's best to consult a professional.

I have a sunquest pro 24rs and it's making a humming noise and the fans underneath the bottom bench isn't working but all lights are working? What would be the cause of this and how to repair it?

The humming noise and non-functioning fans in your Sunquest Pro 24RS tanning bed could be caused by several factors. Here are a few things you can check to diagnose the problem and potential solutions:
  1. Check the power source: Make sure the tanning bed is properly plugged in and the outlet is providing sufficient power. Test the outlet with another device to confirm it is working properly.
  2. Check the circuit breaker: Check the circuit breaker for the tanning bed to ensure it is not tripped or in the off position. If it is tripped, reset it and try turning the tanning bed on again.
  3. Check the wiring: Check the wiring connections inside the tanning bed to ensure they are properly connected and not damaged.
  4. Check the fans: The humming noise and non-functioning fans may be caused by a malfunction in the fan motor or the fan blades may be obstructed. Check the fans for any obstructions and test the fan motor with a multimeter to see if it is receiving power.
  5. Call a professional: If you are unable to diagnose and repair the issue on your own, it is best to call a professional technician to service the tanning bed. They will have the necessary tools and expertise to identify and fix the issue.
In any case, it is important to exercise caution when attempting to diagnose and repair electrical equipment. Always unplug the tanning bed before attempting any repairs and do not attempt any repairs if you are unsure of what you are doing.

My Optiway Fortress 1704FS won't go. I put new batteries and charged them.

Hey there! Sorry to hear about your Optiway Fortress 1704FS scooter not working. From my experience, there are a few things that could be causing this issue. First, make sure that the batteries are properly installed and connected. Even if they are new and fully charged, if they aren't properly installed, the scooter won't work. If the batteries are properly installed, you may want to check the fuse. The fuse could have blown, which would prevent the scooter from working even with new batteries. Lastly, it could be an issue with the motor or controller. If neither of the above solutions work, it may be best to take the scooter to a repair shop to have them take a closer look. Hope this helps and good luck getting your scooter up and running again!

Green Light flashes when key is in. WONT GO !!!

  1. Check the battery: Make sure the battery is fully charged and properly connected to the scooter. If the battery is low, charge it fully before trying to use the scooter.
  2. Reset the controller: Turn off the scooter and disconnect the battery. Wait for a few minutes, then reconnect the battery and turn on the scooter. This should reset the controller and may fix the issue.
  3. Check the freewheel lever: If the freewheel lever is engaged, the scooter will not move. Make sure the freewheel lever is disengaged before trying to operate the scooter.
  4. Check the throttle: If the throttle is not working properly, the scooter will not move. Make sure the throttle is fully engaged and that there are no obstructions preventing it from moving.

COULD THE THERAPEUTIC PILLOW BE THE BEST PILLOW FOR NECK SURGERY?

The therapeutic pillow could be a good option for neck surgery. It is made of an environmentally friendly recycled foam that is medium density, so it is not too soft or too hard. It has a special section that supports the upper back called a thoracic wedge. This can help those with neck and upper back pain when back sleeping, as well as provide support and comfort when side sleeping. Ultimately, your surgeon should determine the best pillow for neck surgery based on your specific case. However, the therapeutic pillow is a good option to consider. Here are some other things to keep in mind when choosing a pillow after neck surgery:
  • The pillow should be firm enough to support your neck in a neutral position, but not so firm that it is uncomfortable.
  • The pillow should be the right height for your sleeping position. If you sleep on your back, you will need a thicker pillow than if you sleep on your side.
  • The pillow should be made of a breathable material that will not trap heat.
  • The pillow should be hypoallergenic to prevent dust mites and other allergens from building up.
If you have any questions about choosing a pillow after neck surgery, be sure to talk to your doctor or a physical therapist.

How can I remove the wheels on a road knight mobility scooter when the fixing bolt / nut won't budge ?

If the fixing bolt/nut on your Road Knight mobility scooter's wheel won't budge, you can try the following steps to remove the wheel:
  1. Apply some penetrating oil: Spray some penetrating oil like WD-40 or PB Blaster on the bolt/nut and let it sit for a few hours. This can help loosen the rust and make it easier to remove the bolt/nut.
  2. Use a breaker bar: A breaker bar is a longer tool that can give you more leverage to apply force to the bolt/nut. Place the breaker bar on the nut and try to turn it counterclockwise to loosen it.
  3. Use heat: Heat can help expand the metal and loosen the bolt/nut. You can use a heat gun or a propane torch to heat up the nut and then try to remove it with a wrench or breaker bar.
  4. Use an impact wrench: An impact wrench can apply a sudden burst of torque to the bolt/nut and help loosen it. You can rent an impact wrench from a tool rental store or hire a professional mechanic to help you.
  5. Seek professional help: If none of the above steps work, it's best to seek the help of a professional mechanic who can use specialized tools and techniques to remove the bolt/nut without damaging the scooter.
Remember to be careful when working on your mobility scooter and always prioritize safety. If you are not confident in your ability to remove the wheels yourself, seek the help of a professional.
