There is a process to make an all reset. After the reset try again. The user user manual can be downloaded from Timex. Make very sure the watch is absolutely flat and far from metal objects. Even being near most furniture can effect the reading because they can have metal springs. Many homes have a lot of metal in their construction. It's best to calibrate the compass out doors away from power wires or cars or anything metal. On the street you can have metal under the pavement.

If this does not work call Timex. There have been instances where the compass module or sensor had to be changed. I have the same watch. It's a very good one.

Proabably it is "stuck". I often find that a sharp flick or two with my finger on the face of the watch will cause it to start running. Should not need "resetting".

New batterys can go bad, that is why they have a warranty. Replace the battery

Yesterday, I have just replaced new battery of CR 1620 but it gets no sound as you. I found that it must be resetted that I don't know how. I'm trying to find it out.

Thank you for the member's advise that...Replace the back cover with the arrow on the back point directly at the stem. The Indiglo backlight, Alarms and Chimes should all work when all the back cover is in the correct position. If it's at the wrong position of cover it'll not work correctly because the speaker or buzzer of your watch must be attached on the correct case back. Just try to fix it right!
