Tissot T Touch dead.
Hi,
I keep my T-Touch in a
One thing that happens when watches sit for awhile, is that contacts and battery terminals oxidize, or sometimes even corrode if the previous battery leaked. You should talk to a watch repair shop and see what they would charge to clean it thoroughly, since that's most likely what it needs. If you're a super tech kind of guy, you might be able to open it up and clean the switches with electrical contact cleaner, but use a qtip and at least 90% isopropyl alcohol to clean the battery terminals.
Another tech here on FixYa provided this link to obtain service from an authorized Tissot facility:

Good luck, hope this helps, and thanks for using FixYa!
Unclear as to how you adjust the rubber band strap
-
Remove the deployant clasp from the watchband. The clasp is attached using spring bars on each end of the clasp. The method of spring bar removal varies but is usually performed by pushing a small pointed tool (one end of a spring bar tool) into a hole at the end of the clasp. While depressing the spring rod, pull the buckle away from the bracelet to detach. Repeat this for both sides of the buckle.
-
Step 2
Measure the watchband to determine proper sizing. Use the scissors to cut along the inner grooves to remove needed sections (each section of the rubber will contain a new set of holes for the bracelet spring bars). Cut carefully and conservatively, as this step cannot be undone.
-
Step 3
Reattach the buckle to the band after resizing. Reverse Step 1, pushing the spring bar in while sliding the buckle back into place.

Hi I have a Tissot
I agree with the repair service, in that it probably is not a big deal, but since it is still under warranty, I would contact Tissot at the following to get their professional advice on their product.

Touch function is not working
I had the same issue. After installing the battery and trying to calibrate several times... to no avail.I tried pressing the T button, keeping it pressed down and then install the battery. It give you a mode or function setting ( I'm not sure what it means). i then press the T button and it cycles through these mode setting. I synchronized the hands and then was able to get the: altimeter, compass, meteo, date and time working. The temp, chrono still doesn't work.
I think getting all the functions to work, depends on the mode setting... but i don't know the correct setting.
The date and time are changing by themselves
I had the
problem with locking on chrono function. Then I decide to replace battery,
after replacement watches become crazy, hands were moving all the time, it was impossible
to stop it. I remove the battery and leave watches on the table for 5-6 days,
then install the battery again. No problem any more, all functions are
available. May be you have the same kind of problem. Good luck!

mcdevito75 here, Best Bet, Look for a small watch repair shop in your area for the replacement band. Cost would depend on the band itself, you"d most likely want a band that Tissot makes with their watches to maintain authenticity, I would figure such a band could cost $30.00--- $75.00 Of course you can also contact Tissot if you have the paper work that came with the watch when new, or online at Tissot watches.com
I have a tissot touch and the digital clock and
Hi,
Thanks for giving Fixya the pleasure to solve your problem.
I would advise you to set the time (digital and analogue) once again.
Visit this
link to see the manual.
Also, clean your watch regularly using a soft cloth and lukewarm
water. After bathing in salt water, rinse your watch with fresh water and leave it to dry completely. Avoid exposing your watch to excessive variations in temperature or humidity, to strong sunlight or stong magnetic fields.
Good luck and have a nice day.
Watch hands don't coincide with the digital time.
This usually occurs when the battery is changed. There should be a process for synchronising the two times detailed in the manual.
To get a manual you go to "
http://tissot.ch/" and on the black menu bar at the bottom of the page you will see "product support". Click on this and you will go to a page of instructions. Download yours and find the relevant method for putting your watch right.
