It doesn't look good. It could be that the unit has been formatted accidentally, the SD card has become corrupted or the reader damaged.
If it is a config problem, the unit can be reset to factory settings.
To reset your TomTom device, do the following:
- Check that the battery is charged properly. Charge your device for at least 2 hours before trying to turn it on again.
- Reset your navigation device. Press and hold the On/Off button until you hear the drum sounds and the device restarts. This can take 30 seconds or more.
You can read more about it at tomtom's support site:

It doesn't find a satellite signal
Usually, it takes longer to find the satellite signa if you are indoors, under structures and/or don't have a clear "line of sight" to the satellites in the sky, assuming you're in a (geographical) area where there's usable satellites .... e.g. not in the middle of the Ocean.
If you are not experiencing these conditions, and it still take a long time, it will help if you download and install the latest QuickGPSFix update from the TomTom website, using HOME (software).
Tomtom one loose usb connector
You might consider using a USB cable with an angled connector. This way the stress will no longer be on the TT motherboard but more on the housing. You can find such cable on eBay.
