Hi, Are you referring to the platen roller? The platen roller is the cylinder that's underneath the printhead which pulls the labels from the roll/box and then pushes it at a certain speed so that the printhead prints onto the label. The platen roller is usually coated in rubber and you can check if the platen roller has some eroded or cut sections. Unfortunately, the platen roller is a consumable item, you'll need to replace the platen roller. Loading paper that is stuck together, frayed, curled or bent can cause a jam. Overloading the paper tray, loading different thicknesses of paper in the tray or using paper that isn't appropriate for your particular printer can all result in a jammed printer. How to Fix a Paper Jam in a Printer

(Perform the input check in the test mode: 03-[FAX]ON/[2]/[B]) NO 1) Check if the connector of the exit sensor is disconnected. 2) Check if the connector CN308 on the LGC board is disconnected. 3) Check if the connector pins are disconnected and the harnesses are open circuited. 4) Check if the conductor pattern on the LGC board is short circuited or open circuited. 5) Replace the exit sensor. 6) Replace the LGC board. YES Is the registration roller clutch working? (Perform the output check in the test mode: 03-108/158) NO 1) Check if the connector of the registration roller clutch is disconnected. 2) Check if the connector CN305 on the LGC board is disconnected. 3) Check if the connector pins are disconnected and the harnesses are open circuited. 4) Check if the conductor pattern on the LGC board is short circuited or open circuited. 5) Replace the registration roller clutch. 6) Replace the LGC board. YES Check the registration roller. Replace it if it is worn out.
