Try re-installing the following and reboot:
For Windows 7
1. Toshiba Fingerprint Utility (for Windows 7 (32/64) click
here,
2. Upek Fingerprint Driver (for Windows 7 (32/64) click
here,
For Windows Vista
1. Toshiba Fingerprint Utility
here or
here.
If above steps won't work, the issue is most likely a hardware issue. To make sure that it's not, I recommend trying to do a full system recovery (if you don't mind starting from scratch - turn the computer OFF, hold the
0 key then turn the computer ON).
If you still encounter the same issue, call Toshiba support and have the unit serviced at 1-800-457-7777 (for US) or 1-800-663-0778 (for Canada).
