My Viewsonic N3752w is not working. First it would not turn off - all of the buttons on the TV, including the power button, would just bring up the start menu. I unplugged the TV, and now it will no

Leave it unplugged for 10 minutes (normally 1-2 minutes to clear the memory). Try turning it on again via the TV. Can you also turn it on via the remote? If this helped, please mark this as helped.

My viewsonic keeps changing channels

The first thing to try is to see if a button is stuck on the remote or on the TV. Remove the batteries on the remote and see if that helps. If it fixes the problem, you'll need to replace the remote. If that doesn't help, look close at the buttons on the TV to see if one is jammed on. If changing channels continually up, then check the channel up button on the TV, if down then check the down button. Worst case, you might have to take the back off the TV and unplug the cable feeding the external button panel on the TV and only use the Remote (for safety, rememeber to unplug the TV while doing any work on it).

TV turns on/off intermittently

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; [Exclude the model number], in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.
