  1. Switch off your phone.
  2. Press and hold Power + Volume UP buttons to boot into stock recovery.
    ? Once in recovery mode, use Volume buttons to navigate up & down between options and Power button to select an option.
  3. Select language for recovery (if asked) then proceed to set write protect off:
    1. Change it to Set write protect off.? A message will pop-up saying "Write protect is off after reboot", choose cancel.
    2. Reboot phone.
  4. Download and install the Kingroot .apk file from the link above.
    ? If you get a prompt to "Allow Google to regularly check device activity for security problems..", make sure you DECLINE it.
  5. Once installed, open Kingroot app and press the "Start root" button to begin the rooting process.
  6. During the process you might repeated warnings by Google to check device activity, DECLINE it like you previously did in Step 1.
  7. If the process finishes successfully, then congratulations! You're rooted.
    ? To verify root access, download the root checker app Play Store.

> Check the number of applications that are running in the back ground close some and check if it still freezes
> Try to identify from when the phone started freezing - if there was an app you downloaded prior to that uninstall that app and check if still freezes

sim cards are PUK and pin code specific
by changing sim cards , the system sees it as a stolen phone and locked it out of use
call vodafone or go to a vodafone shop to sort out the problem

check your data usage as any excess over the monthly amount is really really expensive

You can't reset the password without the inputing the oldpassword, so in order to get the phone working again you must do a "Factory Reset".
