I have a virus. webroot
Hello,
Has webroot been running on your computer or this is your first time of running it?
If it has been working previously, then you can run system restore on your computer. System restore can help to back date your computer to the time when the webroot was working perfectly.
To perform system restore:
Start > All programs > Accessories > System tools > System restore.
Read and follow instructions. System will restart during the restore process.....
After that try again and observe if webroot will function/work properly/normally.
Please let me know if this doesn't solve your problem so that I can help you further.
Regards.

Restart your computer in safemode by clicking F8 and it will let you login as Administrator than click on help and support than go to system restore and pick a date prior to the time the problem started, also choose the safemode with network support so you can get on the internet. Once on the internet go to download.com and download Advanced System care, and run a deep scan.

In case it is not uninstalling then kindly download this software from the link provided below and uninstall the software. Re-boot the machine run chkdsk and then install and update the software.

What is the market value of device
considering as you can get products that do the same job for free, not much however, the retail price for the latest version is 19.99 so yours being an old outdated version, errr a lot less. p&p will probably cost more than it's worth.
I can't scan using my webroot software. I was
Hello there.
To better understand your concern and isolate the issue, i will be asking a few more questions
for troubleshooting.
1.What is the operating system on your computer?
2.When do you exactly get the error message,is it during the uninstall process itself? or
is it during the reinstall of the software?
3.Is it configured to automatically scan your computer at a particular date and time?
4.Have you installed any other anti virus or any updates that you've made on webroot like
the active notifications?
Trojan horse has locked Webroot
boot into safemode with networking. go onlinee and download malwarebytes from download.com install it run it. restart start windows normally and run it again
I was downloading an update.
I suggest you use AVG anti virus, since its proven as the best free anti virus software.
www.avg.com
For your anti virus webroot, if its corrupted and if it was unlegal that there was delocking mode so it cannot be downloaded again before cleaning your whole OS. Im sorry for telling you this but its reallity :(
Please rate my solution, that would be really nice from you :)

make sure you're connected to the internet. If still this doesn't help try uninstalling the version you have and download the current one. This should fix the problem.
Hope this helps.

I am glad to HELP YOU!
If you had ALREADY an antivirus installed and even so the system was attacked, I'd suggest you to do one of the two things:
1. make sure the antivirus database is up-to-date
2. if the option 1. is done and still no effect, then switch to another antivirus software.
I'd suggest you for the option 2. to install a FREE EDITION of
# AVG
# Avira
# Avast
and the list is long... I am using AVG Free Edition for years and I never had a problem.
My best regards!
... and don't forget to RATE, please...
Webroot antivirus protection turns off
I would uninstall it and reinstall it.
It is also possible that you have a virus on the computer that is messing with it.
I would suggest you go to www.malwarebytes.org and download and run malwarebytes to see if there might be something bad running on your system.

I am getting error messages for the past few weeks
Never used webroot so I'll take a guess way out in left field and say that you are using two antivirus's and they are conflicting. If so I would use only one and you would have better functionality. If that isn't the problem, get us corrected and we'll get you on the right track.

I used to work with spy sweeper very often at my old job and I ran into this every now and again. Generally Spy Sweeper would need to be re-installed, or installed over to fix this. I recommend going to their website, and downloading the most recent version of the software. You should then be able to install the software, and it should turn your spy sweeper off and write over the bad files. If this doesn't fix your issue, I would recommend uninstalling your current version of SS w/AV and then once again installing from the website.
I'm currently using webroot spyware.
Click on your tool icon at the top right of your screen(might look like a gear). Click on internet options. In the window that pops up click on security tab. Click on the trusted sites icon then click on the sites box. Scroll through the site and make sure the sites are in there and that the "enable protected mode" box isn't checked and exit. Click on tools again and internet options. This time click on the "privacy tab" and adjust your level to "allow all cookies and exit. This should work for you. Does your spyware have it'sown firewall?
