How to remove clutch drum ongc2125 johnsered whipper snipper
This is quite a big job, start by removing the top cover, disconnect the throttle cable and pull to one side, remove the plug cap and unhook the ht lead from the alloy clamp, remove the three allen headed screws around the drum housing, carefully remove the housing (do not lose the two rubbers from the fuel tank lugs ) with the tube and shaft still connected, you will need to now remove the two wires from the ignition unit to allow it to free from the engine unit, now on the right hand side, through the plastic cover, slacken the two tube clamping screws, now pull the housing off the end of the tube, if the shaft is a square into the drum it will just come away, down in the housing remove the circlip on the end of the drum, use a drift to tap the drum out through the bearing, if the shaft is screwed to the drum, you will need to pull the shaft out of the tube, you will need to clamp the shaft in some soft jaws to unscrew the drum.
Good luck.
