Oven gas turns off

If your Wolf has pilot light, most cases dirty pilot light (flame looks yellow, normal flame looks blue), you have to disassemble the pilot light to clean it, thermocouple connection is loose, bad thermocouple or bad oven safety valve. you can try change the thermocouple first, if it did not solve the problem, then it will be bad oven safety valve. You can buy thermocouple thru Hardware store. Have fun.

I just got my (new to me) pre-1990 Wolf 36

the oven pilot has 2 setting first setting is for you to light small flame, should not be all yellow if it is it has a dirty orifice inside the pilot hood, you can remove this by disconnecting the pilot line from the hood and removing orifice for cleaning, just rub it with a cloth.once clean and replaced you light pilot and check it out. if its ok turn on oven and secondary pilot will ignite that why it got bigger!! this heats a flame sensor to allow 100% safty vavle to open to let gas into burner so yuo can cook.

My gas stove keeps on clicking after the burner is

your range has a Electronic spark modual with reignition. First look at the electrods on each burner and make sure they are clean all the way around them. (( dirt can cause them not to send the votage back created by the heat. )) If this does not solve the problem then you will need a new spark modual system.

36" wolf range. when

It sounds like the regulator is getting worn out or the burner needs to be removed and cleaned. Try these and this should take care of the problem. Try to vacuum the burner out very good and you may even try tapping lightly around it with a screw driver to jar any suit loose and free up any openings that draft fresh air. Hope this helps. Good luck.

My Wolf gas oven won't

Hi,
If the burner is lighting sounds like the igniter is ok, sounds like the burner flame may be too low, should be up both sides of the flame spreader without going up over the edges. You may need to adjust the gas to the burner or see if the valve is clogged. First thing you need to do is look at the burner flame to see if it is too small and go from there.. Use your clamp on amp meter to check the amp draw of the igniter, however usually a weak igniter will either not open the gas valve or cause a gas smell when the valve opens and closes., not a low burner flame....if this has top burners do they light correctly?? If no top burners could have a bad/clogged regulator also or gas supply problem from the gas supplier.

Wolf Range r366 - How do I replace the igniter

I have a Wolf Gas Range and initially my igniter incessantly sparked. I noticed that the igniter is cracked. Do I need to replace it and if so how do I replace it? The electrical wire to the igniter became disconnected; should sticking it back into the igniter cause it to work?

Wolf range 36'' gas range

this sounds as if your gas suooly pressure has dropped and the ignitor
does not light until a significant amount of gas is in the oven. check
your gas supply line for a bend or kink, also chec if the shutoff valve is
partially closed.

Wolf oven won't light after only 3 years since last repair.

You could try a new thermocouple and/or cleaning the pilot assembly. The thermocouple is the tube that screws into the pilot safety valve and runs to the actual pilot and is heated by the pilot flame. If you change this part be sure not to over tighten the thermocouple into the safety valve as it can break. You should go finger tight plus a quarter turn. Also you should check to see if the pilot is solid, not weak. Thermocouples can be purchased from your local equipment service company, sometimes Home Depot has them for water heaters, be sure you get on with proper length. Hope this helps.

My wolf rage doesn't light anymore by turning a nob

some models have one gas pilot for 2 burner front and rear and there is a small pipe that goes front the burner to to the pilot, the burner has small holes facing the pipe the goes to the pilot that's where you take a paper clip or a safety pin and clear or clean the holes, the same thing on the electronic ignition, but some electronic ignition they have a spark right nest to the burner and by looking at the other burner that are working you can see where it's sparking, and clean in between the burner and the spark.

Older 6 burner wolf commercial range ignition problem.

If it were the gas regulator, existing flames would go down as more burners are turned on.

There are set screws on the pilot fittings that come out of the manifold, you could try turning those Counter-clockwise to turn the pilots up. (Don't loosen them all the way, they will fall out!) If that doesn't work chances are the pilot stems will have to be replaced to get a higher pilot flame.
