How to increase zhone 1518 internet speed
Many things/variables determine Internet Speed, some you can control, some not so much. Contact your ISP and have them verify the signal, have a ISP tech come out and analyze the signal. The issue may be outside equipment or the Internet site itself. No one thing will increase speed. Upgrade to a New N or AC Wireless Access point, but remember you must update ALL computers to N or AC to benefit fro the Wireless device upgrade. Check ALL cables and connections, reseat connections. Your Device is a 802.11 G, what are you connecting? Are the Computers G as well? You can connect via a Ethernet cable, that's the fastest/easiest/cheapest way to increase speed.
Paradyne 6218-I2 ip filter
If you are using multiple computers, and DHCP, then your IP's are probably changing, which is causing your issue. You need to manually assign an IP to a computer for the IP filter to be effective in the Paradyne.

NAT? Where?!
Perhaps you are using a different firmware than the one they are using in the guide. If they are using an older one then you may just need to figure it out. Look through your router's settings again for anything that mentions NAT, Port Forwarding, or Virtual Server. Then just pick the port (or ports) that you want to forward and which machine to forward them to.
One last thing that may be causing your issue is that you are not connecting to your router. Does the configuration page that you visit display your routers make or model? If you have a modem and a router, then it's possible you are actually connecting to your modem instead.
